Sydney 2 Melbourne 3
Well, we lost the game, but we certainly weren't embarrassed. 2 goals down, (one scored when Middleby was one the ground with a broken collarbone, the other a contoversial penalty) plus what was a reasonable sending off of Mark Rudan: all of which happened in the first 15 minutes. However, for the rest of the game, 10 man Sydney at least equaled Melbourne, and probably deserved more than a 3-2 loss out of it. haven't seen any of the highlights... heard the score... heard about the controversy... and heard the crowd number (wow!!)... all good for the league.
